Each year, INTECH’s entire staff spends a “Day of Service” devoted exclusively to working on a community project that may have languished due to lack of funds, more pressing issues, or other seemingly impossible hurdles. A committee led by INTECH’s Diversity and Community Manager meets to consider and select a project. The only requirements are that a project must be:

  • In service to an organization that serves the community;
  • Require a range of skills to allow all INTECH employees to participate;
  • Capable of being completed in one day.

  • Past Days of Service include:

    2016 Mount Zion Baptist Church
    2015 Johnson’s Playground and Recreation Center
    2014 Miles Mack Recreation Center
    2013 First African Presbyterian Church
    2012 People’s Emergency Center (PEC)
    2011 Our Mother of Sorrows School
    2010 Our Mother of Sorrows School
    2009 Philadelphia Veterans Comfort House
    2008 Christy Recreation Center
    2007 48th Street Recreation Center Project
    2006 Kingsessing Recreation Center Project
