The Martin Residence Hall is an 8-story residential building which is part of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital complex in Philadelphia. The building has been renovated on a floor by floor basis over the course of several years. INTECH was responsible for multiple phases beginning in 2009. The first phase involved the conversion of offices into dormitory rooms and the remaining phases involved interior renovation and upgrades of existing dormitory rooms.

Working on an occupied campus and in an occupied building requires painstaking efforts to ensure the safety of the students and faculty, and to minimize noise and disruption for the occupants. Doing the work on a floor by floor basis requires forward planning to ensure systems remain operational. Low floor to floor heights add a further complication to these logistical challenges.
