When Anapol Schwartz made the decision to move from their current office in an old brownstone to the 16th Floor of One Logan Square, they recognized it was going to be a daunting task. They made a key decision to hire CBRE as their Owner’s Representative to guide them through the process. Based upon a competitive bid response to the Request for Proposal and a preliminary space plan, INTECH was awarded the project. From that point in time INTECH’s project team worked closely with CBRE, Anapol Schwartz, Nelson Architects, and Brinjac Engineering to keep the project within the budget established prior to INTECH’s selection. In order to maintain the schedule, the team was able to expedite certain packages and trades to allow the project to commence on site prior to the design being complete. Before the project was complete the law firm changed its name to Anapol Weiss.
“It was a pleasure working with the INTECH team throughout the Pre-Construction, Construction, and Completion of our office relocation. Their hands-on approach and philosophy of their Project Managers taking ownership of the Budget during the Pre-Construction phase really limited the amount of changes or delay with involving a separate Estimating Department. Once that Design & Budget was turned over to Jeff Betteridge in the field, he took it and ran to make sure that it all came in within Schedule, no matter what it took.”
