The Hilton Garden Inn Camden Waterfront is part of a new mixed-use urban neighborhood on the banks of the Delaware River. In addition to the hotel, the planned neighborhood will include up to 1.2 million square feet of office space, apartments, and retail space, as well as an expanded and improved public park.
The seven-story hotel offers 180 rooms, including 20 extended stay units, 4,400 square feet of meeting space, and a variety of dining options including both indoor and outdoor amenities. The building itself is a steel stud-framed bearing wall structural system over a podium. The façade was customized from the standards for a Hilton Garden Inn, and contains a combination of panels and punched windows.
The project was delivered through a Design/Build methodology.
