The Arch

INTECH Construction converted the historic Robert Morris Building, located at 17th & Arch Street, into a luxury rental property. This 15-story building, originally built as a hotel in 1914, has become an apartment facility with 111 units and ground level retail space. The Robert Morris Building units range in size from studio apartments to 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom units. In addition, amenities include; a fitness center, media room, and a restored historic meeting room.The historic exterior of the building was restored and cleaned. The existing wood sash windows on the south and east façades were replaced with new wood sash windows and the existing metal windows on the north and west façades were restored. The buildings mechanical and electrical systems were fully replaced with a new steam fed condenser water system servicing vertical stacked heat pumps in each unit.
