Formally the home of National Publishing Company, the 1912 concrete and brick structure formed the skeleton for this historic renovation. Rather than printing presses and bibles, the building is now comprised of a 152-unit luxury apartment complex. On-site parking, fitness center, and community rooms are a fraction of the amenities offered to its residents.
As General Contractor, INTECH managed the conversion of the historic Pennsylvania Railroad Freight Building into 282 luxury apartments. This project involved building a completely new infrastructure while retaining the original woodwork and detail. Due to an accelerated schedule, 50-percent occupancy was achieved within eight months.
