Agnes Irwin School is an independent all-girls’ Pre-K through Grade 12 day school. This major addition to the School included a new athletic facility, dining hall, and main entry. Designed to maximize the buildable area limited by local setback requirements, the new building focuses the campus visitor to a welcoming entrance point, and improved and expanded the capacity for the School’s dining and athletic facilities. The project included a competition gymnasium, squash courts, a rowing tank, team locker rooms, and a 300-person dining hall and new kitchen. Both natural and artifical fields were constructed, as well as four new tennis courts. Complex site conditions included controlling a stream that cuts across the project site. This project has achieved LEED Silver certification.
“Agnes Irwin is very grateful to everyone at INTECH for delivering an incredible facility. Thank you for your leadership, your professionalism, your responsiveness, and, above all, your commitment to excellence.”
