CBS3 TV’s relocation to their new home at 1500 Spring Garden Street involved the renovation of a 100,000 SF space on two floors (ground and sixth). New state-of-the-art digital studios, video control rooms, newsroom, and offices comprised this large program. Key construction considerations included raised flooring, a new 600-ton air-cooled chilled water system with waterside economizer combined with a VAV indoor air handling system, two independent 13.2 KV feeds stepped down to two 480-volt feeds, and providing two 1500 KW emergency diesel generators located at grade level.
