INTECH constructed the new Convene CityView meeting space over two floors of the United Engineers Building near Rittenhouse Square. This project included installation of an intercommunicating stair and a two-story ceramic mosaic wall executed by Philly’s own Isaiah Zagar from Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. The space incorporated polished concrete flooring throughout, custom decorative lighting, an extensive telecommunications and audio visual package, custom fabric wall coverings, and millwork. The addition of a prep kitchen presented numerous challenges, including working in occupied spaces on adjacent floors and integrating with existing building infrastructure. The project was phased and completed on time over the course of a 24-week schedule.
“INTECH was a great partner for the Convene projects in Philadelphia. They provided both a fair price and exceptional service. As Convene is a hospitality-focused company, we appreciated the level of communication and commitment the INTECH team provided. The projects had very challenging attributes, all which the team took on with a proactive and creative approach. INTECH made sure to close the project in full, and was helpful with any additional needs that came up post-completion.”
