Size: 3,000 SF
Client: Drexel University
Architect: Erdy McHenry Architecture

Drexel University extended its learning environment beyond the central library building. The library’s strategic plan envisions a series of satellite spaces with an emphasis on active study, learning and technology. The first location is an addition at the base of Race Street Hall. This project used a Design/Build delivery approach in collaboration with the architectural firm of Erdy McHenry.

The space provides for a variety of seating arrangements for group and individual study. The addition respects the design intent of the original building (also constructed by INTECH/Erdy McHenry on a design/build basis) with full height glass and maximum transparency. The building will be registered with Green Globes.
