This new student residence hall is in the heart of the residential quadrant of Drexel’s campus. Built on a small site, the building’s innovative design creates dramatic skyline views of the city from the upper floors. The design of this 17-story building called for a 10” rotation in the floor plate at each level, which caused technical challenges for trades from mechanical/electrical/plumbing to window systems. This dramatic tower was in response to Drexel University’s strong commitment to design excellence and its goal to create a vibrant campus for students and faculty.
