Myers Hall is a three-story residence hall built in 1977. The structure is slab-on-grade, using block and plank construction and wood roof trusses. Currently unoccupied and partially abated, the building is slated for a two-phase demolition. Some elements such as exterior doors and window system components remain and will require coordinated abatement prior to the first phase of demolition. Phase one is the removal of the north wing of the building to make room for the new building. The existing switchgear room must remain intact and functioning until the new building and gear are in place and active. Phase two includes the demolition of the remainder of the building.
