The interior renovation of the Francis Cauffman Architects headquarters at 2000 Market Street was completed in an occupied and active office building. Designed for ultimate efficiency in building and health strategies, the project is targeting both LEED-Gold and WELL-Gold certifications. The biophilic design incorporates access to daylight, adjustable lighting, upgraded amenities, and a restorative lounge. The new space was planned for connection and collaboration with a focus on variation and choice — there are 19 different types of work settings to allow for maximum flexibility. The project scope included selective demolition and coordination of high-end finishes for the new space including open offices, conference and huddle rooms, a design and samples library, a café, focus rooms, and support spaces.
