Target Stores

INTECH has built two stores for Target, and while the results appear similar to the consumer, the challenges faced in construction differ among locations. In large-scale construction of this type, INTECH performs deep assessment of site conditions, environmental impact, infrastructure (existing and future), and utilities. INTECH also looks to find ways to perform tasks that can help reduce a project’s schedule. In one case, INTECH’s pre-planning allowed the shake-out of the steel to occur directly on the finish slab, minimizing the impact of water and mud on the project. To minimize exposure to winter elements, accelerated foundation and concrete slab work played large roles in constrution of these stores.
