Temple University Health System purchased the Cancer Treatment Centers of America hospital campus with plans to convert the complex into a hospital for women’s health. The first phase of the project included the renovation and fit-out of three floors of office space to accommodate support staff of Juniata Park, the planned women’s health hospital.
Designed as an open floor plan with few offices and meeting rooms, the second and third floors feature acoustic ceiling clouds that reflect the workstation clusters below. The fourth-floor legal department has a more traditional layout with offices and meeting rooms lining the perimeter of the space and strategic open areas in the middle.
The project had undergone many design changes during construction, making effective coordination key to completing the project on time within a tight schedule.
