INTECH partnered with Temple University Health System to renovate a 2,750-square-foot former hair salon into a specialty outpatient pharmacy, positioned adjacent to the Women & Families grand lobby (formerly the Cancer Treatment Center of America). The scope includes a complete interior demolition of the existing facility and a redesigned layout to accommodate critical features such as a pharmacy workroom with medical refrigerators, -30 and -80 degree freezers, a new checkout counter, hazardous storage, a breakdown room, workstations, and back-of-house space. The renovation incorporates new finishes throughout, including updated flooring, wall protection and coverings, and ceiling treatments. Plumbing adjustments were integrated with the updated building structures, while HVAC systems were adapted and relocated, including new variable air volume (VAV) units. New electrical circuits were installed from the building’s switchgear to support the pharmacy equipment, accompanied by newly crafted millwork.
