The Equinox Health Club Rittenhouse is a 38,000-square-foot fit-out of a high-end health club. Dedicated to delivering luxury amenities with an unrivaled experience, the club includes a sales office, juice bar, retail space, group fitness room, yoga and cycling studios, locker rooms, spa treatment suites, pools, and cardio and strength training space. Located within a residential high-rise on Rittenhouse Square, the project incorporates monumental and interconnecting stairs that help the club merge seamlessly with street and private resident access. Vibration control for the workout areas was a critical component to mitigate disturbance for residents — structural work includes a combination of jack slabs and isolated floating concrete slabs.
